Guidelines for Submitting

1. Session Topics: Please indicate the topic/title of your presentation. Your title should clearly describe the session content in less than 15 words.
2. Detailed Session Description: Please describe what aspect of the topic you will discuss and the format of the presentation.
3. Condensed Session Description: Please include a shortened version of your session description in paragraph style. The condensed description should not exceed 150 words. If your session is selected, this description will be published in the conference program.
4. Length of Session: Please indicate the amount of time required for the presentation.
5. Date/Time of Presentation: Please indicate your preferred date/time of presentation in order of preference (you may select more than one time slot).
6. Speaker information: Please share speaker names, credentials, biography and any other information that will help the committee with its review and selection process.

Please DO NOT send supplemental materials (presentations, articles or reports) with your speaker proposal. These will not be seen by the program review committee.
Speaker Requirements

• Provide timely and relevant educational content pertaining to the international infrastructure industry.
• Engage an audience of 35 – 150 people for the duration of session.
• Provide practical, real-world application of the concept or solution presented (case studies, success stories and lessons learned).
• Introduce new ideas and methods, emerging and/or innovative practices or techniques.
• Provide relevant takeaways for the audience in attendance.
• Proposals of a commercial nature which promote or market particular products and/or services will not be considered.

You will receive an email message confirming the receipt of your proposal.
Judging Procedures and Deadlines

• All submissions must be sent to IRWA by Friday, December 8, 2023.
• All submittals are reviewed by the IRWA Conference Review Committee. Sessions and speakers are approved for inclusion in the conference program by the IRWA Conference Review Committee.
• Announcements of selected presentations will be made on or near Thursday, February 1, 2024.
• Complete instructions for speakers and presentations will be provided upon notification of a presentation’s acceptance.
